Terms of use

These terms apply when you use Venusify on the website, the Venusify app, or Venusify for Therapists, operated by VENUSIFY LTD. By creating an account or making a booking, you agree to them.

Who we are

VENUSIFY LTD, company number 15767874, 6th Floor, 200 First Central, 2 Lakeside Drive, NW10 7FQ, London, United Kingdom. support@venusify.io. 07708 887000.

If you book as a customer in the UK, you also have legal rights that these terms do not replace. Consumer advice is published by Citizens Advice.

The service

Venusify is a marketplace. We connect clients with independent practitioners, take the booking, and collect payment. The treatment itself is an agreement between the client and the practitioner. Practitioners are not our employees.

Treatments are beauty and wellness services. They are not medical care and they do not replace advice from a health professional. We do not guarantee that a listed service is suitable for you, or that a practitioner will be free at the time you want.

An Elite badge means the practitioner is certified, insured, and has the experience we ask for. A Blue badge means certified and insured. No badge means we have not completed that check. Practitioners must hold their own insurance and keep their certificates up to date.

Accounts

You must be 18 or older, give accurate details, and keep your password safe. We verify email and phone before an account can be used. We may suspend or close an account that gives false information, fails verification, abuses the platform, or breaks these terms.

Bookings

You book against the practitioner’s published hours. A practitioner can turn bookings off or decline a request. There is no promise that a particular time will stay available.

The price is the price shown for that service when you book. Payment is taken when you book, in pounds, by card through Stripe. The practitioner is not required to provide the visit if payment has not been made. You will receive a confirmation by email.

Choose the practitioner yourself, using the profile, badges, and reviews. The place of the visit must be suitable for the treatment. If you do not give the practitioner access, the visit can be cancelled and the cancellation rule for that booking still applies.

A visit can be extended only if you and the practitioner both agree. Any extra charge is for the extra time you agreed.

Cancellation and fees

The cancellation rule shown on the booking applies. A practitioner who does not attend is not entitled to be paid for that visit.

The practitioner’s platform fee is shown on their payments page. Any processing charge added for the client is the amount shown before you pay. Prices shown for a confirmed booking do not change after you have paid.

Amounts are exclusive of VAT where VAT applies. The practitioner is responsible for the tax on their own services.

Your responsibilities

Give complete and accurate information, cooperate on the day, and follow ordinary health and safety at the place of the visit. If you delay the start, the booked end time still stands unless you and the practitioner agree otherwise.

Practitioners must describe their services accurately, hold the insurance and documents we ask for, and provide the visit themselves. Work arranged outside Venusify, or a service that is not on the practitioner’s profile, is not covered by these terms.

Complaints

Contact support@venusify.io first. We will look into the complaint and help the client and the practitioner resolve it. We may remove reviews, and we may close an account, where there is serious misconduct or a pattern of complaints. We are not responsible for the treatment itself, or for a place that was not suitable for it.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for the quality of a treatment, or for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

Other terms

The Venusify name, software, and site content belong to us. Neither party is liable for a delay caused by something outside their reasonable control. These terms are the whole agreement for use of the platform. They are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales decide disputes about them.

How we handle personal data is set out in the privacy policy.
